1. Steel Tapes -
Steel Measuring Tapes are stronger in construction and last a lifetime. Due to all steel construction, the blades offer greater accuracy( without stretching), under varying temperature conditions. Steel Measuring Tapes are designed to withstand more wear and tear than Fibreglass Measuring Tapes. Available in different units of measure like metric for the European markets and Imperial graduations for the US markets.
2. Metal Wired Tapes -
These are cotton woven tapes, with copper wires inserted to make them non shrinkable. A paint coating on the surface makes these resistant to water. These are one of the oldest forms of measuring tapes and are still in demand for various applications.
3. Fiberglass Tapes -
Fiberglass Measuring Tapes offer a strong construction. The non stretchable fibreglass strands are coated with PVC and are water resistant.Fiberglass Measuring Tapes are Non Conductive and will not conduct electricity. Available in different units of measure like Metric for the European markets and Imperial for the US markets. These have graduations printed on both sides. The Open Reel frame are available in long lengths up to 100 metres.
